Name:Nadic anhydride
CAS NO:826-62-0
Chemical name: cis-3,6-N-methyl-1,2,3,6-tetrahydrophthalic anhydride
Also known as norbornene dianhydride
Abbreviation: NA
Product Usage
Used in unsaturated polyester resins, it has better air drying, higher heat resistance, smoothness, higher electrical performance, corrosion resistance, and mechanical strength than resins made with phthalic anhydride and tetrahydrophthalic anhydride. Curing agent for epoxy resin, suitable for casting, lamination, powder forming, etc. The cured product has excellent weather resistance, heat resistance, and electrical properties. Used for alkyd resin, urea formaldehyde resin
application
As a high-temperature curing agent for epoxy resin adhesives, the reference dosage is 80-90 parts, with 90 parts being the best. The curing conditions are 120 ℃/2h+150 ℃/5h or 80 ℃/3h+120 ℃/3h+200 ℃/4h. The cured material has excellent heat resistance, weather resistance, and electrical properties, with a heat resistance of over 200 ℃. After aging at 180 ℃ for 1000 hours, the thermal weight loss of the cured material was only 1%. Used as a curing agent for hardened glass, intermediate for rubber softener, surface activator for plastics, steel wires, enamel, resins, insecticides, high boiling point solvents, etc. Used as a modifier for alkyd resin, urea formaldehyde resin, melamine resin, etc. Can be used as insecticides, vulcanizing agents, plasticizers, surfactants, textile finishing penetrants, etc.
