Product Usage:
N-vinylpyrrolidone (NVP) is a colorless or slightly yellow clear liquid. Its homopolymers and copolymers have inherent characteristics such as high polarity, water solubility, chemical stability, low toxicity, and cationic activity, making them widely used in industries such as pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, coatings, inks, adhesives, and in the preparation of polyvinylpyrrolidone.
Storage conditions:
Keep the container tightly sealed when not in use. Store in a cool, dry, and shaded area.
Packaging method:
According to customer requirements, galvanized iron drums (net weight 200kg/drum) are generally used; Bulk transportation is carried out using ISO TANK.
1. Plastic
This monomer can be added to the formulation of UV curable coatings to form flexible and hard plastic films. Adding NVP to radiation medical formulations can improve the elongation and viscosity of high and low gloss coatings.
2. Wood
Enhancing product performance, improving productivity, and reducing pressure on environmental pollution are the main reasons for investigating the use of scattering coatings in the furniture industry. Adding NVP to anti UV coatings used in the wooden flooring industry can provide physical properties equivalent to wax free flooring.
3. Paper making
UB and EB curing coatings used in papermaking or cardboard generally require low viscosity and high reactivity. NVP meets these standards by improving fluidity and measurement levels, while maintaining good curing properties.
4. Metal
Metal UV coatings are generally formulated using cationic vinyl ether/epoxy chemistry or heterocyclic systems. The function of NVP is to crosslink with vinyl ether or acrylic functional groups in these systems to form an excellent and active diluent.
